Abstract: Potentiodynamic polarization curves Atom Force Spectroscopy and Electronic Probe Measurement Analysis were used to study the sensitivity of biofilm on Q235 steel to a kind of novel heterocyclic bisquats named MDHTD in culture medium inoculated Sulfate-Reducing Bacteria. The experiment results show that the the formation of MDHTD adsorption film could affect the status and electrochemical characteristic of metal surface and decrease the corrosion reaction facilitated by SRB greatly. Also this made it difficult for metabolized production of SRB in medium and corrosion product to deposit directly on carbon steel surface which reduced the acceleration of SRB metabolism course (including acid soak) to corrosion markedly. Besides it is scarcely possible for SRB in medium to metabolize on carbon steel surface and this would decrease the possibility for SRB to assist corrosion in the medium.
