Pipeline steel using in sour gas field gathering line may have a sensitivity of Hydrogen Induced Cracking under the condensate conditions on the internal pipeline surface during wet gas transportation. The double electrolytic cell device and in-situ hydrogen permeation tests with H2S under the simulating condensate conditions were used in this paper. Hydrogen permeation current curves were measured to calculate the hydrogen flux and concentration of adsorbed hydrogen atoms under different conditions. The results show that even under condensate conditions the hydrogen permeation still can be detected. Several environment parameters which can influence the status of the condensate film and the H2S content have been investigated.
