CO2 corrosion has become one of the main corrosion problems in the development of the natural gas field the effects of temperature on CO2 corrosion are very complex. In this paper chose tubing and casing steel P110 as experimental material high temperature and high pressure corrosion environments were stimulated and the effects of temperature on corrosion and the characteristic of corrosion product film of tubing and casing steel were discussed by using SEM XRD and weight loss method. The result shows that the corrosion rate of P110 steel decreases with a rise of temperature in a static condition which is directly related to the structure and protection of the corrosion product film the surface corrosion product film of P110 grain coarsening and stacking porous under moderated temperature and low protection to matrix which cause the high corrosion rate while the corrosion product film are thin but dense and adhesion well under high temperature protect matrix well which cause the corrosion rate decreased significantly. The form of corrosion change from localized corrosion to general corrosion with the increase of temperature.
