In large projects, it is important that all engineering decisions, especially those that will affect the future performance and integrity of a process facility, be well documented. Corrosion Management provides a framework to document, review and manage all aspects of corrosion engineering in projects, and lay the foundation for future integrity management of a process facility. This paper details Saudi Aramco’s experiences with the implementation and application of corrosion management in large projects.
