Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) equipment, like equipment made of other materials of constiction, isproduced under controlled conditions to specific standards. When this equipment is installed or repaired, it must be understood how to make these field fabrications closely match the
original quality of the equipment. This paper examines 5 parameters, that affect the quality of field fabricated FRP. It shows what can be done to improve the quality of these fabrications. Up until now the environment was the parameter one had least control over in doing field Fabrications or repairs. This paper gives new ideas and technology that will give anew level of control over the Environmental parameter, which was previously thought very difficult to control.
