H2S liquid scavengers are used up stream of sweetening processes ( amine and solid beds) and dehydration processes (triethylene glycol). The capacity of different scavengers to remove H2S and their corrosive properties in presence of other chemical treatments was evaluated. Compatibility with corrosion inhibitors, asphaltene dispersant, triethylene glycol, amines and dispersants were studied, and the results exhibited interesting behaviors for each treating system.
